My new obsession...this Egg Roll Bowl!  One of my favorite asian foods is by far the "Egg Roll."  I am a fan of that crispy little treat dipped in some sweet and sour sauce, but I am not a fan of the way I feel later after eating said treat.  This is my new favorite lunch.  The may not have the crispy outer shell and sweet and sour sauce, but I am telling you if you are eating clean and missing your egg rolls this will surely help!  This is also a great Whole 30 recipe too, simply replace the Tamari or Soy Sauce with Coconut Aminos and you are good to go!   Recipe Confession:  I LOVE broccoli!  I am a huge fan of this cruciferous vegetable!  I have done everything from roasting, steaming, stir frying, and making it into a coleslaw, but NEVER have I ever sauteed it.  Which is actually quite crazy!  I am running this veggie challenge in my Facebook Group and I wanted to try something new....so low and behold on the counter there was a red onion, some avocado oil and then when I opened the fridge the first veggie I say was broccoli...(shocking I know, but not really there is most definitely ALWAYS broccoli on hand in the fridge.  My usual favorite way to make broccoli is to roast it in the oven with some olive oil and salt and pepper.  When done correctly it is like eating candy...yes candy.  I digress.... ...   • This shake is my ultimate recipe when I need a filling post workout shake that also curbs my sugar cravings.  I am loving the moderate carb approach and how I am not craving my usual mid day ☕️ while I am on the #21daysugardetox I actually feel like this is a treat!

1/2 cup ice
1/2 green tip banana🍌 (a little unripe)
1-2 scoops of clean protein powder (I use vital choice collagen peptides)
1/4 avocado 🥑 
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tbsp almond butter
  • Mediterranean Brussel sprouts.  This spring/ summer weather has me wanting some “lighter” vegetable sides to eat.  This is my newest creation.  I am so into roasting all the things anyone else? Today is my busy day of evening activities and I will need an abundance of energy, this steak, potatoes, Brie and salad lunch is just what I need to power through the evening packed full of baseball game and practice , orthodontist, college night at the high school and putting all those tired kids to bed later!
